Every tool on PDFToolWorks processes files locally in your browser using standard web technology. Your documents and images are not uploaded to our servers, not stored, and not shared with anyone.
What we do not collect
- No file content, filenames, or page counts.
- No account, no email address, no sign-up.
What the site itself may know
Like almost every website, our hosting provider records standard technical request logs (IP address, requested page, browser type, and timestamps) for security and error diagnosis. If product analytics are enabled in the future, they will only record privacy-safe event counts: which tool was used, how often, and anonymous duration ranges. Never the files.
Cookies
The site sets no tracking cookies. Browsers store your working files only in memory during processing; nothing is written to persistent storage.
Third parties
Ads, when shown, are served through an ad network. The ad network may set its own cookies subject to your consent. Ad placement never interferes with tool controls.
Changes
If this policy ever changes in a way that matters, the change will be described on this page with a date.
